Jodi Hendricks is the Executive Director of New Mexico Family Action Movement (NMFAM), where she advocates for biblical values in public policy and defends faith, family, and life in the state of New Mexico. Though she once steered clear of politics, God had different plans—leading her to a role she never expected but now embraces wholeheartedly. Through NMFAM, Jodi works to mobilize communities, engage legislators, and fight for policies that protect families, religious freedom, and the sanctity of life.
Beyond her policy work, Jodi is an award-winning author, speaker, and advocate for women’s identity in Christ. Her book, #NoFilter: Unmasking the Woman God Created You to Be, has been recognized with the International Impact Award in Women's Empowerment & Self-Discovery, the Illumination Book Awards Gold Medal in Bible Study, and the ChristLit Book Award for "transcending the ordinary, offering not just words on a page but an enlightening journey that promises to resonate deeply with countless women." Through her writing, she empowers women to break free from insecurity, societal pressure, and past wounds to embrace their God-given purpose.
A wife and mother of four, Jodi’s journey has been anything but ordinary. Growing up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she pursued her love for storytelling and communication at Bob Jones University, earning a B.A. in Creative Writing and an M.A. in Interpretative Speech. Later, she continued her education at Wayland Baptist University, where she earned an M.A. in Counseling and became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, helping women navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.
Jodi’s heart for ministry extends beyond the political sphere. She is the founder of #Crowned Ministries, a speaker passionate about bringing Scripture to life, and the director of Thrive, the Women’s Ministry at her church. She also has a creative side—baking elaborate cakes for birthdays and weddings, a hobby that blends science and artistry. And if that wasn’t enough, she recently overcame her fear of motorcycles and now loves the thrill of the open road!
Through her work in policy, ministry, and writing, Jodi is a powerful voice for truth, faith, and family. Follow her journey as she fights for biblical values, encourages women to embrace their identity in Christ, and maybe even shares a cake or two along the way!

in alliance with Family Policy Alliance.
As one of over 40 state groups working in alliance with FPA , we are uniquely suited to engage in New Mexico from the grassroots level all the way to the Capital as we educate and activate voters, as well as work hand in hand with legislators in promoting policy that protects life, families, and freedoms in New Mexico.
Our alliance with FPA expands our resources, knowledge, and capability to work effectively and efficiently in and out of the legislative session.
