LADIES!! Join our Executive Director, Jodi Hendricks, for a time of spiritual refreshment as she leads you on a path to discovering the beauty of God's design for our lives.
"We were made to thrive; unfortunately, we live in a world that would tell us otherwise. It's time we refuse to be women who merely survive. It's time to be women who thrive!" - Jodi Hendricks

The end of the legislative session is nearing and the Capitol is scrambling to see several more bills passed before Saturday.
There are two specific bills that we need you to take swift and urgent action on in an effort to stop them in their tracks!
It's easy to forget what the full picture of a rainbow looks like; because from my perspective, I've only ever seen half of the picture. I'm so thankful that God sees the whole picture and directs our steps accordingly.

My name is Jodi Hendricks. As a native New Mexican, I was raised in Albuquerque by my parents who instilled in me the values of faith, freedom and family. After high school, I attended Bob Jones University in South Carolina, where I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in writing and speech. I later earned a master’s degree in Counseling from Wayland Baptist University. While attending Bob Jones University, I met my wonderful husband, Michael, and we’ve now been married over 15 years. We have 4 beautiful children – Isabella, Tristen, Lilly, and Addyson – and we have made our home in Albuquerque where I have worked as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for several years.
In 2020, my husband and I made the decision to homeschool our children. If you had spoken to me even five years ago about the possibility of homeschooling my kids, I would have laughed. I never wanted to be, nor imagined myself as a homeschool mom. But, as our children have gotten older, I have become more keenly aware of how federal, regional and local politics affect our family unit. As my parental rights began to be threatened in the classroom and my children’s education began to be bombarded by a liberal agenda, the choice to homeschool was an easy one. That simple choice to protect my family, my faith, and my freedoms has been an incredible journey. But it is a journey that not everyone has the opportunity or means to embark upon. New Mexico Family Action Movement stands in the gap. In the past, our family has partnered with Family Policy Alliance both at the national level and in the state of New Mexico. We have seen and experienced first-hand what it is to fight, not only for our family, but for the families of all New Mexicans. Through our alliance with Family Policy Alliance, we have established a state run, state supported organization to defend our faith, families, and freedoms in New Mexico.
Thank you for your continued generosity in supporting our vision. I look forward to a continued partnership with you as we gain full momentum in our active presence in the fight for New Mexico’s religious freedoms, thriving families and cherished life.
To transform the culture of New Mexico to one that honors God as we:
Protect and cherish life from conception to natural end.
Safeguard the family unit and become an environment
in which it can thrive.
Boldly defend and preserve religious freedom, free from government interference.
NM FAM is the only New Mexico organization to work
in alliance with Family Policy Alliance.
As one of over 40 state groups working in alliance with FPA , we are uniquely suited to engage in New Mexico from the grassroots level all the way to the Capital as we educate and activate voters, as well as work hand in hand with legislators in promoting policy that protects life, families, and freedoms in New Mexico.
Our alliance with FPA expands our resources, knowledge, and capability to work effectively and efficiently in and out of the legislative session.
